In part 2 of this online workshop, participants will learn how stories can bring their values to life and strengthen their impact. The focus is on using storytelling purposefully - choosing the right story for the moment, shaping it with clarity and authenticity, and expressing both strengths and challenges in ways that resonate. It takes a practical, structured approach to analysing why stories work, how to match story type and structure to your aims, and how to use engaging language and rhetoric to communicate with impact.

Facilitator Diane Wilkinson, will guide you through crafting and delivering your own leadership story, with opportunities for feedback on both what you say and how you say it.

This course comprises of two two-hour online workshops, delivered over Zoom.

    • Analyse why anecdotes create understanding and motivation

    • Understand how to develop anecdotes that fit the business need

    • Practise and select rhetorical techniques that work for them 

    • Develop and deliver stories that link the personal and the organisation

  • By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

    • Explain why stories create understanding, connection and motivation in leadership communication 

    • Select and shape anecdotes that align with your business or leadership intent

    • Apply clear structures and rhetorical techniques to craft impactful stories 

    • Deliver an authentic leadership story that links personal experience with organisational purpose

    • Use targeted feedback to refine your storytelling style and strengthen your communication impact
